Shedding Velvet

Shedding Velvet is a collection of black and white linoleum prints created between the years 2020 and 2022. Inspired by the dramatic and striking image of a deer shedding its antler velvet in preparation for mating season, this work depicts the wildlife of the American West in a way that emphasizes the patterns and forms created by the natural world.
